The quintessential studio lighting workshop. Get immersed for two days and learn the
fundamentals of lighting and the most popular lighting styles both with
continuous tungsten lighting, as well as strobes. Master the technique
involved in creating these classic lighting styles and get introduced to
contemporary looks. Extend your knowledge into product lighting.
Delivered jointly by Kiko Ricote, Master Photographer and Huba Rostonics. This is a unique opportunity to participate in a top-notch studio
lighting workshop at a state of the art facility in the heart of Miami.
Get introduced into the key lighting concepts by our lead instructor, Huba Rostonics, Photographer and Blogger. Learn special techniques with Kiko Ricote, Master Commercial Photographer, who has more than three decades of experience in the craft and has created images for clients such as American Airlines, Sony, Toyota, Volkswagen, Corona and Coca Cola.
The content of the workshop is an attempt to provide a comprehensive overview of studio lighting as well as an in-depth, hands-on experience.

on shadows, Terms "Key Light", "Fill Light" and "Catch Light". II.- Types of light, color temperature, constant lighting,
strobes, monolights. Light modifiers.
III.- Classic Lighting styles. Butterfly lighting, the Rembrant,
high-key lighting, the full glamour portrait
IV.- Tungsten Lighting setup practice
V.- Studio Strobe Lighting setup VI.- Contemporary lighting styles for portraiture | VII.- Product photography. The Still Life, composing the shot,
consider the object, the concept of the "tablescape". VIII.-
Product lighting.Incandescent lighting, fluorescent lighting.

Commitment: Workshop runs for the weekend from 8:30 until 5:00 PM. Lunch is offered and included in the fee. Bring your own camera, memory cards, tripod and shutter release. Choice of lenses is from wide angle (35mm equivalent 24) to a medium telephoto (70mm).
